What is koksböse?
"Böse" is the cocaine business. Not the person at the party.
koksböse is looking closer, not looking away.
You buy fair trade coffee. You wear second-hand. You check supply chains. You only go to clubs whose values you stand behind. And then? This website shows where cocaine comes from. Not as a lecture, not as a judgment. Just as information. What you do with it is up to you.
Why koksböse exists
I've been part of Berlin's electronic music scene for years. Clubs, open airs, festivals. I love this scene and its subcultures.
And I noticed: we care about ethical consumption, human rights, progressive values. But we don't apply the same standards to cocaine. I've had this conversation dozens of times, with different people, different arguments. At some point I made a website so I don't have to repeat myself.
What people do with this information is their decision. But after reading it, you can't say you didn't know.
What koksböse is not
Not an anti-drug campaign
This isn't about telling anyone what to do or not do. It's about transparency.
Not a moral lecture
No finger-wagging. Just facts, all sourced, all publicly available.
Not from the outside
This project comes from within the scene, not from the outside. It's not talking about you, it's talking about us.
Not commercial
Independent, no ads, no hidden agenda. A volunteer project.
Not aimed at people struggling with addiction
The target audience is casual users who make conscious decisions about other products but haven't applied that lens to cocaine. Not people fighting addiction. They don't need fingers pointed at them.
